Description

This Peach Cobbler features fresh peach slices and a sweet, buttery topping, making it an irresistible dessert that’s easy to prepare and great for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh peach slices peeled
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and spray a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine peach slices, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt. Cook over medium heat for 3–4 minutes until the sugar melts and the mixture is warm.
  3. Pour the melted butter into the bottom of the prepared baking dish without stirring.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, 1 cup granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk until smooth. Pour this mixture into the baking dish over the butter without stirring.
  5. Gently spoon the peach mixture over the batter, ensuring even spacing and allowing some juice to pour in. Sprinkle the top with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Bake for 38–42 minutes until the top is golden and the edges are bubbling.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm with vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for extra richness.
This dessert is best enjoyed warm, but it stores well in the fridge for a few days.
Feel free to substitute fresh peaches with canned peaches for convenience.
