Description

This Pan Pizza brings together irresistible flavors with simple prep. Topped with mozzarella, pepperoni, and homemade sauce, it’s perfect for a quick dinner or cozy family meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 (10 to 12 ounce) ball pizza dough
  • 1½ tablespoons olive oil
  • ⅓ cup pizza sauce
  • ¾ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup pepperoni slices
  • ¼ cup shredded parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Add 1½ tablespoons of olive oil to a 10-inch cast-iron skillet and swirl it around to coat the sides.
  2. Stretch or roll out the pizza dough into a 10-inch circle and transfer into the oiled skillet.
  3. Preheat the oven to 475℉.
  4. Let the dough sit out for 30 minutes in a warm area, such as near the preheating oven.
  5. Spread pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a ¼-inch border around the edges. Top with mozzarella, pepperoni slices, and parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake the pizza for 15 to 20 minutes until crisp.

Notes

For extra flavor, add herbs like oregano or basil to the sauce.
Use freshly grated parmesan for better taste.
Keep an eye on the pizza while baking to ensure it doesn’t over-bake.
