Description

This Lemon Parmesan Chicken is a tasty dish that combines succulent chicken with zesty lemon and rich parmesan. It’s perfect for a quick and delicious meal any night of the week, offering simplicity and fantastic flavor in every bite.


Ingredients

  • 6 chicken breasts
  • 2 lemons
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Rinse and pat dry the chicken breasts.
  4. Brush the chicken with olive oil and then dip each breast into the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring even coating.
  5. Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Slice one lemon and place the slices on top of the chicken breasts for added flavor.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and squeeze lemon juice from the other lemon over the chicken before serving.

Notes

Make sure the chicken is fully cooked by checking that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Let the chicken rest for a few minutes after baking for better juiciness.
