Description

Enjoy a creamy Horchata Latte (Hot or Iced!) that brings together rice, milk, and a touch of cinnamon. This comforting beverage is perfect for coffee aficionados and a delightful treat at any time!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Start by rinsing the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In a blender, combine the rinsed rice, milk, cinnamon, and sugar, blending until smooth.
  3. Strain the blended mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher, discarding the solids.
  4. Stir in vanilla extract and chill in the refrigerator if you prefer it iced (or warm it on the stove for a hot latte).
  5. Serve over ice or enjoy it warm!

Notes

Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar to taste.
