- 2 teaspoons kosher salt or to taste
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
Instructions
- Mix all marinade ingredients in a bowl or bag and add chicken, coating well.
- Refrigerate the chicken to marinate for 30 minutes to 4 hours.
- Preheat the grill to medium high heat.
- Take the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off, and discard the leftover marinade.
- Grill the chicken for 7 to 8 minutes per side until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Rest the cooked chicken for 3 to 5 minutes before slicing.
