Description

This Easy Guacamole is a crowd-pleaser, packed with flavor from fresh ingredients like avocados, lime juice, and cilantro. Perfect for serving at gatherings or as a quick snack, it takes only minutes to prepare and is always a hit! Enjoy creamy goodness with your chips or tacos, making it an irresistible addition to any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 medium avocados
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 12 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 small tomatoes, deseeded and diced

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  2. Mash the avocado gently with a potato masher or fork, leaving some chunks.
  3. Stir in cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, half a teaspoon of salt, pepper, and one tablespoon of lime juice.
  4. For a smoother guacamole, continue mashing; for chunkier guacamole, stir the spices in with a rubber spatula.
  5. Mix in chopped cilantro and diced tomatoes until evenly combined.
  6. Adjust seasoning by tasting and adding more salt or lime juice if desired.
  7. Allow the guacamole to sit for at least 30 minutes at room temperature before serving.
  8. If preparing ahead, refrigerate it tightly covered with plastic wrap to prevent browning, adding a splash of lime juice and the pit in the middle to help.
  9. Serve at room temperature or chilled.

Notes

For added flavor, use fresh lime juice instead of bottled.
Store leftovers in the fridge, press plastic wrap against the surface to minimize browning.
