Description

These Easy Banana Pudding Fudge Squares boast a delightful combination of creamy banana flavor and a crispy Nilla wafer crunch, making them an ideal treat for any occasion. With simple ingredients like almond bark and sweetened condensed milk, this recipe is perfect for anyone who loves homemade desserts packed with flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 ounces almond bark, chopped
  • 1 box banana cream pudding (3.4 ounces)
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)
  • 20 nilla wafers

Instructions

  • Prepare an 8×8-inch pan by lining it with parchment paper, leaving excess to aid in lifting later.
  • In a medium microwave-safe bowl, heat the sweetened condensed milk in 20-second intervals, stirring each time until hot but not boiling, about 1 minute total.
  • Whisk the banana pudding mix into the heated milk until smooth and well combined.
  • In a separate microwave-safe bowl, add the chopped almond bark and microwave on high for approximately 3½ minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until melted and smooth, careful not to overheat.
  • Stir the pudding mixture quickly into the melted chocolate until fully mixed; act fast as the mixture will thicken.
  • Spread the combined fudge mixture evenly into the prepared pan with a rubber spatula.
  • Crush the Nilla wafers in a small bag using a rolling pin or the bottom of a mug.
  • Evenly sprinkle the crushed Nilla wafers over the fudge and gently press to adhere them.
  • Cover the pan and refrigerate overnight to allow the fudge to set completely.
  • Once set, lift from the pan and slice into squares for serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure that the almond bark is melted thoroughly but not overheated to maintain a smooth texture.
Allow the fudge to set overnight for optimal firmness before slicing.
