Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) standard or 160°C (320°F) fan-forced. Grease and line an 8-inch square or round baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar and eggs. Whisk together until creamy and well combined, about 30 seconds.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the butter and dark chocolate. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and whisk until smooth and well incorporated.
- Add the flour, cocoa powder, and salt; gently stir using a spatula until a thick, smooth brownie batter forms. Fold in the chocolate chips.
