Description

These Chocolate Dipped Strawberries are an easy treat packed with flavor. Made with fresh strawberries and rich chocolate, they’re perfect for any occasion!


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds fresh, ripe strawberries (preferably the largest you can find)
  • 12 ounces chocolate chips or candy melts (dark, milk, white chocolate, or a combination)
  • 2 teaspoons shortening (only if using chocolate chips)
  • assorted toppings (miniature chocolate chips, sprinkles, chopped nuts, etc. – optional)
  • additional chocolate for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

  • Melt chocolate or candy melts in microwave-safe bowls, adding shortening if using chips.
  • Dip washed, dried strawberries into melted chocolate, ensuring full coverage.
  • Roll dipped strawberries in toppings if desired.
  • Place coated strawberries on parchment paper to dry.
  • For a finishing touch, drizzle additional melted chocolate over dried strawberries.

Notes

Use the largest strawberries available for a better chocolate-to-strawberry ratio.
