Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 large yellow onion, diced
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 6 slices cheddar cheese
- 12 hawaiian rolls
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tbsp everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet, breaking it apart as it cooks. Once browned, drain excess grease and return the meat to the pan.
- Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and diced onion to the meat mixture. Cook until the onion softens.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally and set the bottom layer in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly across the rolls.
- Place slices of cheddar cheese on top of the beef.
- Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on the insides of the top rolls.
- Bake the sliders at 350°F for 12-15 minutes, until the cheese melts and the tops begin to toast.
- Combine melted butter with everything bagel seasoning and brush it generously over the top of the warm rolls.
Notes
For a spicier kick, consider adding jalapeños to the beef mixture.
You can use turkey or chicken instead of ground beef for a lighter option.
These sliders can be prepared in advance and baked just before serving.
