Description

Caramel Rice Krispie Treats are a delightful snack featuring a blend of buttery goodness, gooey mini marshmallows, and crispy Rice Krispies. Ideal for gatherings, these easy-to-make treats bring smiles with every bite, making them a favorite among dessert lovers.


Ingredients

  • 1 (11 oz) bag Kraft Caramels, unwrapped
  • 1 cup butter
  • 7 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 7 cups Rice Krispies cereal

Instructions

  1. Spray a 9 x 13 pan with non-stick spray and set aside.
  2. Unwrap the caramels and set 10 aside.
  3. Melt the remaining caramels in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth and melted.
  4. In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter. Remove from the heat once melted.
  5. Stir in the melted caramel and 5 1/2 cups mini marshmallows, mixing until almost combined.
  6. Add in the Rice Krispies, then fold in the remaining 2 cups of mini marshmallows once well combined.
  7. Gently press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
  8. Melt the remaining 10 caramels in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth and melted.
  9. Drizzle the melted caramel over the top of the treats.
  10. Allow to cool and then cut into squares.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a pinch of salt to the caramel mixture.
Store leftover treats in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
These treats can also be customized with chocolate chips or nuts.
