- 1 (11 oz) bag Kraft Caramels, unwrapped
- 1 cup butter
- 7 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
- 7 cups Rice Krispies cereal
Instructions
- Spray a 9 x 13 pan with non-stick spray and set aside.
- Unwrap the caramels and set 10 aside.
- Melt the remaining caramels in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth and melted.
- In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter. Remove from the heat once melted.
- Stir in the melted caramel and 5 1/2 cups mini marshmallows, mixing until almost combined.
- Add in the Rice Krispies, then fold in the remaining 2 cups of mini marshmallows once well combined.
- Gently press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
- Melt the remaining 10 caramels in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth and melted.
- Drizzle the melted caramel over the top of the treats.
- Allow to cool and then cut into squares.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding a pinch of salt to the caramel mixture.
Store leftover treats in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
These treats can also be customized with chocolate chips or nuts.
