Ingredients
Scale
- 2 sheets phyllo dough
- 8 ounces Brie cheese
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 5 sprigs rosemary
- 1/4 cup pecans, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- Spray a mini muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
- On a lightly floured surface, unfold the semi-thawed phyllo dough sheets and roll them out to soften creases. Cut each sheet into 9 squares using a pizza cutter.
- Place each phyllo square in the sprayed mini muffin tins. Add a piece of Brie and about 1 tablespoon of cranberry sauce on top. Sprinkle with chopped pecans, then set the muffin pan on a baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
- Remove the pan from the oven and take out the Brie Bites while still warm. Garnish with a rosemary sprig if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
These bites can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving for fresh, warm appetizers.
Feel free to substitute the cranberry sauce with your favorite jam or fruit sauce for a different flavor.
Make sure the phyllo dough stays covered with a damp cloth while working to prevent it from drying out.
