Description

This BBQ Chicken Marinade offers a mouthwatering blend of BBQ sauce and Italian dressing, ensuring tender, juicy chicken for quick dinners or meal prep.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs chicken breast, boneless, skinless
  • 1/2 cup bbq sauce
  • 1/4 cup italian dressing
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, pressed

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the BBQ sauce, Italian dressing, apple cider vinegar, and pressed garlic to create the marinade.
  2. Use a fork to poke holes in the chicken. Place chicken in a dish or zip top bag, then pour the marinade over it, ensuring it is fully covered. Refrigerate for up to 4 hours, with a minimum of 30 minutes for marination.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium heat and brush it with oil to prevent sticking. Grill the chicken for 4-6 minutes on each side, depending on thickness, until it reaches an internal temperature of 165˚F.
  4. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For enhanced flavor, let the chicken marinate overnight if time allows.
Feel free to use any BBQ sauce of your choice for different flavor profiles.
You can adjust the vinegar quantity to make the marinade more tangy.
