Description

Baked Spaghetti with Cream Cheese brings together creamy goodness, hearty beef, and flavorful marinara in a simple dish. Perfect for quick dinners or comfort food cravings, it’s made with easy-to-find ingredients that everyone will love!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2–3 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1½ teaspoons italian seasoning blend
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 cups jarred marinara sauce
  • ½ pound spaghetti noodles
  • 8 ounces block style cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ cup finely shredded parmesan cheese
  • 8 ounces block whole-milk mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Grease a 9×13 baking dish and set it aside.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil, ground beef, ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned, about 5-6 minutes. Drain the excess fat.
  3. Stir in the marinara sauce and let it simmer on low for 10 minutes while boiling the pasta. Set aside when done.
  4. Cook spaghetti noodles in salted boiling water for 9-11 minutes or until al dente. Drain and transfer to a bowl.
  5. Combine drained spaghetti, cream cheese, remaining Italian seasoning, and garlic powder in the bowl. Mix until smooth, adding olive oil if the pasta sticks.
  6. Spread 1 cup of the meat sauce on the bottom of the baking dish and layer the creamy spaghetti on top, followed by the remaining meat sauce.
  7. Sprinkle the top with parmesan and mozzarella cheese evenly.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Let rest for 5 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve.

Notes

For a spicier version, consider adding red pepper flakes to the meat sauce.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
This dish pairs well with a side salad or garlic bread.
