- 16 ounces angel hair pasta
- ½ cup sesame oil
- ½ cup light soy sauce
- ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon hot chili oil
- ¼ cup white sugar
- 1 cup pea pods, cut into smaller pieces
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
- Cook the angel hair pasta following the package instructions. Drain it, then rinse with cold water.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the sesame oil, light soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, hot chili oil, and white sugar until well blended.
- Add the cooked pasta to the bowl with the dressing and toss to combine.
- Stir in the pea pods, chopped green onion, and toasted sesame seeds.
- Refrigerate the salad and serve it cold.
Notes
For additional spice, increase the amount of hot chili oil to taste.
Feel free to add other fresh veggies like bell peppers or carrots for extra crunch.
