Description

These Apple Dumplings with Crescent Rolls offer a perfect blend of sweet baked apples and buttery crescent dough. Ideal for a quick dessert that everyone will love!


Ingredients

  • 2 cans (10 oz) pillsbury refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 granny smith apples
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 12 oz mountain dew

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly spray a 9 x 13 pan with non-stick spray.
  2. Peel, core, and slice the apples into 8 slices each.
  3. Place each apple slice in a Crescent Roll triangle, starting from the wide end and rolling to the tip, securing as you go. Arrange them in the prepared pan.
  4. Continue filling and placing all 16 Crescent Roll triangles in the pan.
  5. In a saucepan over low heat, combine the butter, sugar, and cinnamon until smooth and well mixed.
  6. Pour the butter mixture over the dumplings evenly.
  7. Drizzle Mountain Dew over the dumplings in the pan.
  8. Bake for 40 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Serve immediately for the best flavor.
