Description

Enjoy the irresistible flavor of Air Fryer Grilled Cheese, made with your choice of cheese and bread. It’s a quick, delightful meal perfect for lunch or a cozy dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices bread (white, sourdough, or whole wheat)
  • 1 tablespoon softened butter or mayo
  • 23 slices cheese (sharp cheddar, American, provolone, Swiss, gouda, or a combo)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 370°F for 3–5 minutes.
  2. Spread butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread. Place one slice butter-side down and layer with cheese, keeping it away from the edges.
  3. Top with the second slice of bread, butter-side up, and gently press the sandwich. Insert a toothpick through the center to secure.
  4. Place the sandwich in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry at 370°F for 4–5 minutes, then carefully flip and cook for another 3–4 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  5. Remove from the air fryer, take out the toothpick, slice, serve and enjoy!

Notes

To add extra flavor, consider using a mix of different cheeses.
For a crispy crust, ensure bread is evenly buttered before cooking.
