Description

Air Fryer Apple Cider Donuts offer an irresistible flavor with simple preparation, perfect for a warm snack or dessert. Made with apple cider and flaky biscuits, these donuts are a delightful addition to any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 16.3 ounce can flaky biscuits
  • 1 cup apple cider

Instructions

  1. Line a tray with parchment paper or set out a wire rack for the finished donuts.
  2. In a shallow bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon to create a mixture and set aside.
  3. Pour the apple cider into a small saucepan and simmer over medium-high heat until it slightly reduces.
  4. Open the biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Use a bottle cap to punch out the centers for the donut shape.
  5. Prepare your air fryer basket with a parchment round or a light spray of oil.
  6. Cook in batches of four donuts at a time in the air fryer, ensuring they are not touching.
  7. Air fry at 350°F for 3 minutes, flip and cook for another 3 minutes.
  8. Remove hot donuts to the tray or wire rack and repeat with remaining dough.
  9. While warm, brush both sides of each donut with the reduced apple cider and coat in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  10. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Donuts are best enjoyed warm and fresh.
Feel free to adjust the cinnamon sugar coating to your taste.
Ensure donuts are not overcrowded in the air fryer for even cooking.
