Description

These homemade chocolate chip cookies are irresistibly delicious with their soft texture and sweet chocolate and M&M bursts. A perfect treat for any occasion!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cups butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cups brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tbsp vanilla
  • 1 cup mini-chocolate chips
  • 1 cup easter m&m's

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, beat the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla to the butter mixture and beat until well combined.
  5. Gradually incorporate the flour mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the mini-chocolate chips and Easter M&M's.
  7. Scoop 1 1/2 tbsp of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, ensuring space between each to allow for spreading.
  8. Bake for 8-10 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. After removing from the oven, press in additional mini-chocolate chips and M&M's on top of the cookies.

Notes

Ensure the butter is softened for easy mixing.
For a chewier texture, do not overbake the cookies.
Adding more chocolate chips and M&M’s on top enhances their visual appeal.
