These homemade chocolate chip cookies are irresistibly delicious with their soft texture and sweet chocolate and M&M bursts. A perfect treat for any occasion!
Ingredients

- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cups butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cups brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tbsp vanilla
- 1 cup mini-chocolate chips
- 1 cup easter m&m's
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
- In another bowl, beat the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla to the butter mixture and beat until well combined.
- Gradually incorporate the flour mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Gently fold in the mini-chocolate chips and Easter M&M's.
- Scoop 1 1/2 tbsp of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, ensuring space between each to allow for spreading.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
- After removing from the oven, press in additional mini-chocolate chips and M&M's on top of the cookies.
Notes
Ensure the butter is softened for easy mixing.
For a chewier texture, do not overbake the cookies.
Adding more chocolate chips and M&M’s on top enhances their visual appeal.
