Description

This herb roasted chicken breast is a quick and flavorful dish, featuring juicy chicken seasoned with garlic and aromatic herbs, perfect for an effortless dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, or avocado oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425F/220C.
  • Combine garlic powder, basil, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  • Coat the chicken breasts lightly with olive oil, then rub the spice mix generously on both sides.
  • Arrange the chicken breasts in a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes depending on size.
  • After cooking, let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
