- 4 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1 cup almond milk
- ½ tablespoon maple syrup, honey or sweetener of choice
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract, optional
- toppings of choice: fresh berries or other fruit, granola, nut butter, etc
Instructions
- In a bowl or mason jar, combine chia seeds, almond milk, maple syrup and optional vanilla extract. You can also shake the mixture if using a mason jar.
- Allow the mixture to sit for 5 minutes before stirring again to break up any clumps. Cover and refrigerate for 1-2 hours or overnight to thicken.
- Store the chia pudding in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5-7 days.
Notes
Adjust sweetness according to your taste by varying the amount of maple syrup or honey used.
